Every year, the first Thursday in December is devoted to solidarity in efforts to raise awareness about and to fight against poverty.

Over a hundred media representatives and thousands of volunteers will unite across Quebec to collect non-perishable food and cash donations to help people in precarious economic situations.

Working together for the cause

The Centre de bénévolat & moisson Laval and the Société de Saint-Vincent de Paul are working together to ensure the success of this important event, which provides food assistance for people in difficult circumstances.

More than 400 volunteers will carry out the task of collecting your cash or non-perishable food donations at various collection points in the city of Laval.

Until December 24, Desjardins will double your online donations on the La Ruche platform.
